Just because the electronic age is slowly edging out our beloved book, doesn’t mean bookmarks no longer have a place in our world.
Dog-eared pages, bound and weathered will live on – the need for bookmarks will too. Not to mention, bookmarks are often used to tag one place in magazines, periodicals and catalogs.
People are not as likely to throw out a bookmark as they might other promotional giveaways because it is small. If the design is nice, they’ll hang onto it for a while.
How can we utilize these narrow bands of recycled paper as marketing tools for business, service and events?
#1- How about narrowing in on one descriptive quality about your business, product, service or event and create an image. One clever bookmark I found was essentially a paint color sample – great if you are an interior designer.
#2- Offer a helpful bit of information – something your customer may utilize. When to plant specific flowers would be a great tip for anyone involved in earth friendly products or services.
#3- A promotional discount code printed on your bookmark encourages your audience to hang onto your bookmark – atleast until the offer expires.
#4- How about mailing bookmarks out to your clients on a yearly basis, reminding them of a service they should schedule…

In various amounts, it is added to paper which has been recovered from responsible recyclers like you and then magically transformed into recycled paper.
